This edition of Extended Cinematics Workshop in USEK saw a collaboration between Richard Douzjian and Miha Vipotnik. This was also the first truly interdisciplinary workshop as architecture students were joined with film and multimedia students to produce a unique social experimentation and spatial appropriation project in Zico House, entitled Spears in the I.

The film that was used as a starting point for this workshop was Mon Oncle d’Amérique (1980).
